Thanks a ton Duncan... I wish I could post more often, but India is still to catch up on the bandwidth front. One video upload takes hours man....! Saw some of your posts... but hardly can catch up with this darned turtle-slow internet.
About Vlogger Hotel: It's essentially a place where someone who is interested in vlogging can walk in, make a vlog clip, party, and then leave. Almost like a hotel equipped with cam, post-prod setup (all low-budget, of course), essentially the whole pipeline (with instructions).
The concept is a solution to the problem that most people in India don't *own* any equipment...
This concept is something that Freeman Murray and myself have been talking about sometime. Freeman had some computers lying around... and I had a cam... and he had a free space in Mumbai. So we slowly got it started...
The problem is, there is not many people that have shown interest yet, or even know about it. Perhaps the reason is simple - the internet bandwidth here is extremely low - just about close to dialup speeds in the US... and that has kept the vlogging world aloof from this country.
What has ended up happening is that I am the one who keeps posting once in a while... amidst a thoroughly hectic schedule... and recently an editor joined in.
But here's what I was really getting to. If any of ye vloggers are down here, then do drop by and make a fun clip to put up and party with us. That's the only reason why this thing exists.....
